Account details (name, email, phone number), ID verification data, location (province and suburb), profile photo, listings, messages, reviews and basic device/usage data.
2. How we use your information
To verify your identity, prevent fraud, deliver the service, personalise your feed, send notifications, handle billing and comply with our legal obligations.
3. Sharing
We share data only with vetted processors that help us run the service (hosting, identity verification, payment processing, messaging). We do not sell your personal information.
4. Retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period after closure for legal and audit reasons.
5. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing privacy@verimarket.co.za. We respond within 30 days.
6. Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to authorised personnel.
